Mr. Fortunato received his Bachelor of Architecture at Drexel University, and his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design at Ohio State University. He is a member American Institute of Architects and is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Fortunato has extensive field experience and develops construction documents following a holistic approach that not only keeps his clients goals at the forefront, but also takes into account coordination with contractors and building officials, ensuring the completion of a successful project.

Emily Mastropietro, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. has a strong background in 3D digital modeling and sustainable design. She has worked for Fortunato Architecture since the firm’s inception.
Tawanda McCrae is an architectural designer with a strong background in 3D digital modeling.
Tawanda is a former US Army solider and served overseas in Iraq. She is the president and founder of The Red Queen Foundation which is a charitable organization started to provide products and services to homeless girls, women and families in the Mercer County NJ area.
She also volunteers at the Easel Animal Rescue League.
DAN FORTUNATO JR
Dan Jr. has spent his entire life around the construction industry. Prior to Fortunato Architecture he worked for Tishman Construction in New York, NY for almost seven years where he started as an intern and worked his way to a project manager. While there, he was part of rebuilding the World Trade Center Site working on the One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) project. He also worked on the 390 Madison project, as well as the pre-con for the ARE North Tower project.
Fortunato Architecture offers Construction Administration services as it is a crucial role in larger commercial and residential projects during the Construction phase. Dan Jr. is also the CO-Owner of FCF Construction, the build side of Fortunato Architecture. FCF offers General Contracting, Construction Management and Owner’s Rep. services. Dan Sr. and Jr. work together on projects to provide unparalleled design-build service. From blueprint to real life you have the comfort of knowing they are involved.

Chris is an architectural designer with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has a background in multiple digital modeling and photo editing software.

Tamyika joins Fortunato Architecture after 5+ years of practicing commercial interior design.
Her diverse experience with K thru 12, higher education, civic/ government, cultural/community, and corporate clients has equipped her with a variety of skillsets, knowledge and insight that will offer our clients a personalized experience with the firm.
Whether its commercial, residential or hospitality Tamyika’s ultimate goal is to help clients bring their needs and wants to fruition. She focuses on ensuring that the spaces she designs are functional, safe and beautiful.
Tamyika graduated from Kean University, Robert Busch School of Design with a BA in Interior Design and studied Sustainable Design at Florence Academy of the Arts in Florence, Italy.
