Modern Farmhouse Conversion in Princeton, New Jersey

When the owners of an existing ranch house in Princeton, New Jersey wanted to update their existing home to a modern farmhouse, they reached out to Fortunato Architecture. To create the “Modern Farmhouse” look on the exterior white clapboard siding and black Andersen Windows were utilized.




The original interior plan had a sunken living room which was raised flush in order to created a large and inviting open space.



Vaulted ceilings were utilized throughout and kitchen relocation / renovation.




A new bedroom with a raised roof was added to the rear of the house to complete the transformation.
