When the owners of an existing ranch house in Princeton, New Jersey, wanted to update their home to a modern farmhouse, they reached out to Fortunato Architecture. To achieve the “Modern Farmhouse” look, white clapboard siding and black Andersen Windows were used on the exterior.
The original interior plan featured a sunken living room, which was raised to create a large and inviting open space. Vaulted ceilings were incorporated throughout, and the kitchen was relocated and renovated to enhance functionality and style.
Additionally, a new bedroom with a raised roof was added to the rear of the house, completing the transformation.
